Mauritius Hash Trash
25-04-2010 Bassin Dodocop and Christian Patty and Primerose #568
GM DODOCOP asked the hares to circle up at 12.50 pm.
He sent his apologies to those hashers who got stung by wasps during the run (he was talking about Pierre André our deputy trail master) and for the other casualties. He informed the hashers that no insurance cover was provided by the Hash.
FIRST TIMERS/VIRGINS: 7 new comers at the hash today namely;
Hannalie from SA,
Tracy, Angela and Nigel from UK,
Jérôme from France,
Julie and Dini from Mauritius.
Nicolas, Bill and Karl were our second timers today.
DOWN DOWN for the second timers.
VISITORS AND RETURNERS:
The circle was honoured by the return of some hashers after a long time and welcomed a visitor at the hash today.
Bill, Rob and Edwina were greeted with a Down Down.
Our RA, first of all, called the hares to face the circle.
Christian and Dodocop were given a Down Down as a reward for having set a lovely trail today.
He then shared a little story about “Adam & Eve” with the circle. I quote the RA:
“Seems God was just done creating the universe, but he had two extra things left in his bag of creations, so he decided to split them between Adam and Eve.
He told the couple that one of the things he had to give was the ability to stand up while peeing.
“It’s a very handy thing,” God told the couple, who he found under an apple tree. “I was wondering if either one of you wanted that ability.”
Before God had a chance to explain any further, Adam jumped up and blurted, “Oh, give that to me! I’d love to, please, oh please, oh please please, let me have that ability, it’d be so great! It’d be so cool, I could write my name in the sand. Oh please God, let it be me who you give that gift to, let me stand and pee, oh please…” Adam went on and on like an excited little hash boy who had to pee.
Eve just smiled and told God that if Adam really wanted that so badly, that he should have it.
And so Adam was given the ability to control the direction of his pee while in a vertical position. And so, he was happy and did celebrate by peeing down the bark on the tree nearest to him, laughing with delight all the while. And it was good.
“Fine,” God said, looking back into his bag of leftover gifts, “What’s left here? Oh yes, Multiple orgasms…”
MORAL of the story – WAIT TILL YOU HEAR ALL THAT IS ON OFFER BEFORE CHOOSING OR YOU MAY REGRET IT !!!!!!!!!!!”
Our RA then said that he designed the hash t-shirts and that the t-shirt were generally white. However he saw one of the hashers wearing a blue hash t-shirt. He called Micheal who deserved a Down Down for not knowing how to separate colours when washing his clothes.
Our RA did not stop there. He also called our GM to face the circle. The GM cheated during the run because he cut short the trail today. Here’s to the cheater…Down Down.
Dodocop thanked today’s hash cooks, namely Patty and Primerose, who did the food today.
He called our trail master to announce the venue of the next hash scheduled for Sunday 9 May.
Jean, our trail master, informed the hashers that the trail will be marked by Geerish somewhere near Balaclava in the North.
Jean told the hashers to check the directions on the website.
CHANTALLE our hash hostage said that she really enjoyed wearing the cow bell for this run.
She chose Olivier, the hash scribe, as new hostage, the reason being that the hash scribe never noted properly the names of newcomers at the hash and always called her to get the names of our first timers whilst writing the hash trash.
Shame on you our hash scribe! Here’s to the hash hostage…Down Down…
NEXT HASH: BALACLAVA
SEE YOU ALL IN TWO WEEKS.
