Clarence being absent,Alan acted as grand master and thanked Edwina and Rob for the good hash;they were awarded 10 out of 10 marks by the runners.
We were lucky it did not rain as it was a bit cloudy in the morning.
John the Baptist, our religious and sex advisor “par interim” welcomed his flock…”us” in the kingdom of heaven. He was sad because he found out that a few sheep got lost during the hash. Edwina had to go back and fetch them. Our R.A shopped at Jumbo last night and met a few of his disciples; Tusha, Perry’s wife was pushing her heavy trolley while her husband was just walking in front … a few meters along he found Leslie pushing his heavy trolley while his wife was at home … SHAME!! Men must not do the shopping, this is the women’s chore. If we are not careful, he wil infect all the flock, he must repent.
I had the bad idea of reminding John that Martin was wearing new shoes. Our R.A hates gossiping; I was la “femme Palabre” or if you prefer the rumour-monger, I deserve the punishment. So, Leslie and I had a down-down…Hashers and harriets, I warn you Tom is gone but John the Baptist is here! You better follow his instructions and do not sin on Sunday morning. Our grand master thanked Sylvia and your edit-hare for the food and reminded us that we still need some volunteers for the food. See you on Sunday the 18th September.
