Erina & daughter Charlotte from UK. Erina mentioned that she is a nurse and an ex-air hostess. They will be in Mauritius for some time and we hope to see them again.
Second Timers:
None today so GM took a down, down in memory of absent hashers.
The GM thanked the three hares for a run well set. He then treated us to a ‘Little Johnny’ joke about black balls.
John ‘The Stallion’ Cabrielli was promoted to the dizzy height of assistant RA. He will henceforth be known as ‘John the Baptist’ because he started his duties by shaking holy water over the sinners.
Ed was called up for misleading his flock and taking them right past the trail and up a false trail. Phil was called in for good measure. Ed was given the opportunity of trying out the ‘stiff arm’ drinking machine. He didn’t do a very good job and most of the beer went up his nose and in his left ear.
It seemed to be ‘Get at Ed’ day today because he was next awarded the smelly blue t-shirt. Again accompanied with a second chance with the ‘stiff arm drinking machine’. The results were as bad as the first time. He needs much more practice !
A very good biriani was provided by Marie-Claude. Everyone had seconds and thirds.
The next hash will be set by Rob and Edwina, probably in the Piton du Milieu area.
Next food – Henriette.

Stuart is so happy to get his ‘old flame’ back that he has invited all faithful hashers to a party at his place in Quatre Bornes on Wed. 31st August. Bring a bottle and/or snacks. He will provide some food also.
