On On:
Hares Front and Centre:
This week’s On On saw a new MC/GM in the form of Captain Nimo. Why? We’ll talk about that later.
Once a teacher always a teacher and a teacher everywhere !!
“Quiet” he yelled and quiet it became – to welcome Rob and Edwina in the circle.
Faithful to their words they put all their might into setting a nice trail for us. The runners, I would think, were more than just happy and the walkers were in their element too!
Rain threatened but held back until almost the end. Opinion poll awarded them 8 1/2.
Due to other events taking place, attendance was less than usual but didn’t affect the good ambiance. The culminating point was the tardive arrival of our well esteemed GM and Hash Market. Too much partying the night before. At least that’s what they want us to believe. Tut Tut GM.
By a strange coincidence we were also missing our Gmistress. On honeymoon in Rodrigues and insisted on taking the Smelly Blue T shirt with her!!
RA’s Down’s Down’s:
Chosen theme: “History”
The Hash saw its birth in 1938 in Malaysia but was created by bored British living there
Sinners:
*All children to witness a spot of magic demonstrating the British supremacy on inventing the Hash.
* Namsook and Charlotte for being the nearest representations of Malaysians
* Bob for being as old as the Hash
*Phil for racing his son on the Hash and advertising it to the RA while running past him.
Smelly Blue T Shirt:
Gone on Honey Moon with its bearer.
Children’s Award:
Absent.
Hash Food:
A big Thank You to Marie Andree and Otellia for a nice warm Briani. Was just the right thing on a coldish day!
