Bob and Clive set an excellent jungle hash ( Leslie’s words ) of about 6 kms. We parked our cars near the reservoir and drove up to the hunting lodge in double-cab. Fortunately we did not meet any wild boars and though it was cloudy,we saw some nice spots. Some hashers enjoyed picking “goyaves de chine” on the run.
Our grand master rewarded the hares by a d/d and gave himself one as there were no second timers. John the Baptist,our Religious adviser read chapter 6 from the book of Geneses(Noah’s Ark). He decided that we shall all be saved by our 4 Kiwis ( hashers from New-Zealand )who had just finished building a boat ( this is why they are in Mtius ). They were asked to come forward to be anointed. David regretted when he used the word “sinners” instead of “saviours” about our Kiwis and was immediately reprimanded by our S.A. He received a d/d as punishment.
The smelly blue tee-shirt will remain with Fanchette as she did not come to the hash. Our G.M asked for a volunteer to carry the beer as Barry will be absent on the next hash. David offered to do so.
Clarence thanked him and Marie-Claude too for preparing the food. The next hash will be set by Rey.
