On such a glorious day, the Hares couldn’t have chosen a better venue to mark the last Hash of the third
centenary- 399th!! The venue offered everything; nice club House which meant toilet facilities were on tap. Shelter against wind, rain or sun. Beautiful views, nice woodland… you name it, it was there! Many of us would have preferred to slump back and savour the relaxing surroundings, but on the Hash, Duty calls. We had to do justice to the nice long rambling trail the hares had so carefully prepared for us.
Having been hard at it training for the Charity fun run, I chose to be a wimp today. No regrets.
The only snag, I could not see what the runners were up to. But as far as I can gather they had a great time. Apparently our Grand Master went for a swim!
Our paths did cross at times and judging by the ON On calls everyone seemed to be happy.
Wimps we may have been but we were not spared any of the challenge of manoeuvring some the steep down slopes and other tricky what-nots! So to recap, everyone had a wonderful time. Thank You to the Hares!!

Talking of kiddies, a special tribute was paid to Daniella, Stewart and Chloe, who did the whole Hash .

Eric, acting RA, took it into his head to perform 3 Christenings (all with hashers who already had Hash Names!):-

Andy – Hussler – Eric got carried away as it had already been done. This Christening didn’t take place.
Instead he had a DD. Going senile Eric?!
