A well done Hash! Superb view from the top. Oh yes, we had to climb just a little. Actually it seemed like half way up Pieter Both mountain. The route was scattered with fruit and vegetables. Much to the delight of the inherent thieving instincts of some hashers who shall be nameless. The Wimps were especially spoiled with a good variety of fruit and an extra long walk (run ??) on which to enjoy them. One Wimp was heard complaining that it was longer than the main run, or did she get lost while looking up into the trees for fruit ??

Tom the younger. For being an FRB
Etienne for really smelling bad! Actually it was his vehicle. Wow, never smelled any thing like it! The first time that all the Hashers have been seen to RUN FAST!
Blob. For forgetting his horn.
Claude & Andy. For wrestling at the previous Hash. Andy was awarded a used Manchester United tooth paste for winning.
Smelly Blue ‘T’ shirt.
Rey found that it was not half smelly enough so he volunteered to keep it for another couple of weeks.
Kiddie’s Award.
Awarded to ‘an aggressive youngster’ who shall not be named for legal reasons.

Announcements:
- Andy is organising a Round-Mauritius-Relay-Run for charity. He misguidedly thinks that Hashers could form a team to run all round Mauritius (240km) ! What nonsence.
Anyway, he already has a list of about twenty volunteers who will each run either 5 or 10 km legs. About 30 more have volunteered to be stewards and check on the runners. More runners needed. The idea is that we could set off on Saturday and run all night, arriving at the end (Baie du Cap) on Sunday in time for a reception/cocktail. Andy is hoping that the event will receive a visit from a very VIP who will be in Mauritius at that time (November). - Our 400th run is comming up soon. We may combine it with the above (?)
- Would hashers please note that there is a deposit (money) on glass bottles (beer, softies)! Please do not throw them away with the rubbish (or even take them home).
- Walks take place on most Sundays when there is no Hash. See the “Friendly walks” page for details.
