It was a delight to hash with Andy(his last hash unfortunately).Sight-seeing through Port-Louis in a bus. Patrice was our tour leader. The Hash started from “la Citadelle” through the streets of Port-Louis with a beer stop at the British Embassy,a thirst-quenching punch stop at Le Labourdonnais Hotel,a short trip by boat from Le Labourdonnais Hotel to LE Suffren Hotel, ending in the municipal swimming pool
Clarence,being sick,Alan took over as Grand Master. Patrice& Andy received a few down-downs and our G.M. offered the 50th run tee-shirt to Andy.Blob (with a blond wig) acted as Religious adviser. He looked like Benny Hill…
Thank you for the excellent food Fazila.
Juliette (snow-white) was offered the smelly blue tee-shirt from John (the stallion).
By the way, a few anecdotes:
While we started running along the “Pouce Canal”, the residents who saw the whole busload getting off and shouting on, on.. thought we were chasing pick-pockets.
The best story is when I went to work on Monday morning; our messenger boy told me
” Madam, we saw you yesterday running past our house but Oh! we were scared when that madman, coming from nowhere, with a torn and disgusting tee-shirt overtook you. Thank God he(she?) did not harm you. You should not run on your own, you must wait for your friends.”
Rey is setting the next hash. It will be on the 12th of June at Pointe -aux- Piments.

1, There is an alternative Hash once every 4 weeks (arranged not to coincide with this Hash). Held at 4pm on Saturdays.
2. Would hashers please note that there is a deposit ( money ! ) on glass bottles (beer, softies). Please do not throw them away, leave them on the beach or with the rubbish (or even take them home).
