Directions: Turn left and follow road on rightside of church. Looks simple but not when the access through this road is closed. This happened to us on sunday; and guess what! We all went through to the great displeasure of the poor policeman who tried in vain to stop us. We all deserved a down-down for our indiscipline…
Andy and Patrice warned us about a few back checks (1 to 10) and we had 10 back checks. Our G.M noted that we all took short cuts (even the runners) and therewas no need to rush as the walkers were most of the time in front of us.
We had many hashers this sunday(around 80). Poor Juliette, she was worried about the food. “No problem in Mauritius” Sylvia volunteered to find more bread and everything went out fine,the food was delicious. Thanks to Juliette & Co.
Arrivals: It was a pleasure to see Andy (2 weeks holiday) he said he will come back next year. Brian too is back, he has been in Uganda for his work.
Departures: John, our sex and religious adviser is leaving us. He got a job in Indonesia. We wish him all the best. Leslie is quite right when he says John has been one of the best R.A on the hash though sometimes he went a bit too far.
Tusha, our new “first-aid” lady started her job seriously. She applied dressings on Doreen’s bruises like a real nurse. So, if u do feel sick or need medical care look for Tusha and her first-aid kit…
Next hash shall be set by Gilbert and Etienne at “Chasse Mamet” in Midlands.”Wear trousers and long sleeved shirt, bring your mosquito repellent, it could be a chikunguya hash”…
