Totally unexpected,we had the pleasure to welcome Tom again.He is in Mtius for 2 weeks and was pleased to be with us. We had no second timer which means our G.M had to sacrifice himself.
The trail was very long and winding; did you expect a short one with Alan and Dodocop as hares? No chance but we did enjoy it. Big thanks to both. I forgot, Alan even organised a “Christmas Tree Raffle” and 2 lucky hashers won a bottle of wine. We also had a delicious meal and an exquisite Christmas cake prepared by Jackie.
Martin persuaded Tom to act as R.A in the absence of Ian which he did willingly. Tom found out that the flour was a bit thin along the trail, probably due to inflation, so he advised us from now on to gather the flour which shall be use on next runs… He decided to give a d-d to all the hashers browner than him (he felt so miserable with his white skin) but he had to scrap this idea as we did not have enough beer. Finally he gave a d-d to all the trouble makers: Bob Russell, Zandra, Elizabeth (for pinching his bump though he enjoyed it) and Tusha.
We all sang for Isabelle who turned 18 this week and guess what? Barry asked her for her phone number… Tom found out that Chris, Isabelle’s boy-friend, was leaving the country next year and had no Hash Name so he decide to anoint him with beer and flour and called him “Romeo” as he is a galant and romantic young fellow.
Next hash will be set by our Grand Master on the 2nd of January at Poste Lafayette.
