Second Timers: Les Wilcox
Returners: I don’t recall anyone coming back. Hard luck GM!
The run took us all round the beach and residential area of Pointe aux Canoniers, based at the Brit. High Commission bungalow.
A good if uneventful run. Longer than some but with ample opportunities for short-cutting. There was also an official ‘wimps’ trail.
The ‘runners’ trail finished near the Club Med and then cut through to the beach. For some perverted reason however, the trail came back onto the road so no-one had a chance to take in the ‘topless’ scenery.
Back at the bungalow food and beer flowed adequately and most Hashers enjoyed a great swim.
On On:
Hares Front and Centre: The hares were taken to task for not providing a trail along the beach in front of the Club Med.
Down downs:
Two birthdays were celebrated. Leslie and Mr Panjabi (both 93 years old !)
Arlene for refusing to kiss the RA
Jimmy for working at the Phoenix brewery
Claudia for leaking oil everywhere (at the brewery)
RA’s Theme – Dictatorship (As our scribe was occupied with the BBQ and no one else was able to write, details of the RA’s lecture have been lost to posterity)
Smelly Blue T Shirt:
Andy presented the coveted ‘T’ shirt to Tommek
Hash Food:
Many, many thanks to Sarah for the super meal.
Scribe: CoffeeMate et al, OnOn!

Mountain Cocotte, (changed venue). Take the road past Mar aux Vacoas in the direction of Grand Bassin / Chamarel, just like the pilgrims did last week.
Carry on straight, straight, straight. The road narrows at the Grand Bassin junction but keep going straight. At the (new) round about keep going straight towards Chemin Grenier. Look for Hash signs about 1.3km after the round about.
Owners of 4 x 4’s please park off the road, owners of cars may park carefully on the left side of the road.
Bring a change of clothing just in case it rains.
