The Red dress run held on the 17th of december 2005 was a success. The trail was not too long, from Clarence’s house to the Raddison hotel, then a few kilometers along the beach; we had a beer stop at Eric’s bungalow.
After the circle we were offered hot snacks followed by a fabulous barbecue and we danced around the swimming pool until late evening.
Thank you Clarence and Claudia for your hospitality and many thanks to those who helped to make a success of the party. I would like to mention Claudia (our hash-cash lady), Marie Claude, Filida and Elizabeth who came early to offer their help.
I am sorry for not giving details of the circle but I received a call on my mobile phone from Ray who could not find the place and I had to go and meet them on the road (next time please print the map Rey !).
Happy new year to all the hashers and long live the Mauritian hash.

1. There is an alternative “Sunset Hash” once every 4 weeks (arranged not to coincide with this Hash). Held at 4pm on Saturdays.
2. Would hashers please note that there is a deposit ( money ! ) on glass bottles (beer, softies). Please put them in the crates, do not leave them on the beach or with the rubbish (or even take them home).
