Everyone enjoyed the hash set by Girish who volunteered at the last minute as we had no trail “marker” this Sunday.
We ran through the woods, crossed small rivers, down the sugarcane fields. Well done Girish.
Tusha will remember this hash for a while! Poor girl, she got caught in a huge spider web (her scream made us thought that she had been raped…), got stung by wasps and finally slipped on the muddy river bank. But at the end, the brave girl recovered her lovely smile.
We had four new comers and two second timers at today’s hash.
Steve, our Interim Religious & Sex Adviser, decided to “slow down” on sex and religion today.
The lecture was about history and geography. He gave us an “apercu” of what really happened during the battle of Grandport in 1810.
So, if you want to learn more, please contact Steve Farrow, he is a very interesting ‘down to earth’ lecturer.
“Never use new shoes on the hash, it is a provocation”…even if you are a South African, you are not exempted from punishment for violating the rule.
Steve had a down down and drank his beer from his new shoe.
Didier, also, was awarded a Down Down for arriving after the run because he watched a soccer match the night before.
Our GM, John, found out that Jean Vincent and Yannick had been dating for so long that he decided to seal their love by a hash wedding.
His performance was hilarious as usual and after the ‘serious’ ceremony, he blessed the couple.
John ended the circle by an urgent appeal for volunteers to set trails.
