Second timers
Despite not even being at the last Hash, the GM’s reputation was enough to drive away any 2nd timers. Accordingly, he paid the forfeit.
On On
(fffrrrmmfghsshhm) that’s the sound of me sinking into the scribe’s chair again. Strong On has been keeping my seat warm, but what he and I get up to in private is entirely a matter for consenting adults.
It’s good to back. Did you miss me? We were at Bain Boeuf again, back in Colbert country. It was a simply stunning morning running along the beach, the towns, the fields and the sugar. While it was a fairly straight trail, it wasn’t one short of excitement, with a number of the hash falling victim to some particularly unfriendly mutts. We didn’t know whether to shout at them in english, french, or creole although I’ve always found that all dogs have no difficulty understanding “big stick”!
ln an interesting twist, the Beer Stop was at a small tabagie at Cap Malhereux: the first 12 were paid for, and then Shorty Colbert was on commission with the shop-keeper.

Sinners
“Strong On” was in an uplifting mood today and decided to release his feminine side. The hash circle took a few steps back – no sense taking any chances – but were relieved to hear that Alan only meant to reward lady hashers with down-downs which they could pass on to the chap of their choosing.
Jackie was saluted for putting flour on the ground.
Isabella, for being a most distinguished guest: she nominated her son, Captain Nimmo, thereby revealing her generous nature as well.
Valerie has been on holiday and brought her children to each hash.
Sylvia, who has had the operation and is recovering well.
Smelly blue
Several candidates were considered by Nicola: one for touching her appendage which is probably an arrestable offence (touching it, not having it – do keep up); one for being Belgian,-which is reason enough for anyone.
In the end it came to me for putting on a clean t-shirt. So be warned in future all my t-shirts at the hash shall be dragged through the filthiest pile of cack I can find, AND I’ll have my hugging head on!
Children’s award
While there were a lot of children, none were awarded to anyone, so all the parents had to take their own home with them. Better luck next time
