Mauritius Hash Trash 365
14-07-2002 Dubreuil Rey #366
Hare(s): Perry Joseph & Rey Joseph
Venue: Dubreuil
Verdict: 8/10
Virgins:
Jean-Louis Maucourant from Ivory Coast.
Emma & David Woodlock from Hong Kong.
Shailendra (son of Vidya) back from studies.
Second Timers:
No takers this week.
Returners:
Gaelila – Christened “Guillotine” because she came back specially to attend 14th July celebrations.
On On:
Hares front and centre: The hares were summoned to face the crowd of 40 odd hashers. A verdict of 8/10 was awarded for this Hash after much discussion about the meeting place. As we decided to move the meeting place further away from the Police Station at the last minute, the trail got screwed up a little. The parts of the trail which we found were well marked. The area chosen was suitably muddy with several rivers to wade through.
RA’s Down’s Down’s:
Sinners:
Etienne for not wearing the venerable “smelly blue ‘T’ shirt”.
Note: As this has become rather disgusting, it was decided to bury it and invest in another one.
Jean-Louis Maucourant for finding the Hash too short (they are longer in Ivory Coast).
Brigitte for running too fast. She was being chased by Jean-Louis but luckily had given up smoking last Friday so she was able to escape.
Blob for wining about the Hash !
Children’s Award:
Awarded to Thomas Hughes
Many thanks to Namsook for providing a nice meal.
Also thanks to stand-in edit hare Edwina for taking the notes today.
