We have had a few 'special runs' and activities this year and I think it right that I should let you know how these were financed:
Valentines Hash (15th February) - The Valentine prizes were given by generous donations (no cost to Hashers). Food and drinks were paid out of the usual collection of the day.
The Tuna Hash (24th May) - All the food was generously paid for by Evert and Ellen, who had requested that no announcement be made. Drinks were, as usual, paid out of the collection of the day.
Mismanagement Committee Meeting (27th March) - The GM and Sara invited the hardworking Mismanagement Committee to their house for a meeting with drinks and dinner. This was a 'Thank you' to the mismanagement Committee for all their support. No claim was made from the Hash Funds and no collection was held.
Hashers will note that on the three occasions mentioned above, individual Hashers have contributed heavily to the cost of food. They had asked to remain anonymous. I am sure that all Hashers will join me in thanking them for their generosity!
