Very interesting "good-bye hash" set by Alan & Gilbert near le Chaland. Alan printed a leaflet about this historical site which he distributed to the hashers before the run; the lucky ones who found a red card along the trail were rewarded with a mysterious bottle. Big applause to our Hares.
Our G.M said it was a privilege to have Andy (the Hustler), Tom (Decoy), his wife Ruth (Dirty stop-out) and Tomek (no hash name) among us. They were offered a hash gift in recognition of their contribution to the Mtius Hash. We are going to miss them a lot and hope to see them back one day. Fazila and Philida made a special cake for the occasion.
Our R.A (Tom) decided to gave a hash name to Tomek before he leaves us. Two names were suggested :Bruce or Sheila. Being in a democratic club we had to vote and of course we all voted for "Sheila". Tom was wild because the new timer Chris came to Mauritius to try to export our beer to England. Shame on him we are not going to let him do so, he deserved an acrobatic down-down. Tom is never short of ideas; as we did not bring the "hollow arm", he found 2 sticks which he tied to Chris's and Peter's arms with a tape. (Poor Peter he is getting used to down-downs with Tom; one every hash). We ended the circle by singing for our four favourite departing hashers. A delicious meal was served by Marie-Jo.

Announcements:

1. There is an alternative "Sunset Hash" once every 4 weeks (arranged not to coincide with this Hash). Held at 4pm on Saturdays.

2. Would hashers please note that there is a deposit ( money ! ) on glass bottles (beer, softies). Please put them in the crates, do not leave them on the beach or with the rubbish (or even take them home).
