Venue: In the vicinity of the Midlands Dam / Piton du Milieu reservoir Hare: Rey Joseph Excellent hash - though proving a little on the long side for some. GM (Leslie): Two first timers came forward although only one was a hash virgin. Christiane Wilke from Germany. Tony Wallis from Azerbaijan – hash name ‘Guide Dog’ Unfortunately for the GM there were no ‘second timers’ and in the time-honoured manner our GM took his punishment in the form of a ‘down down’. RA (Eric): Invited our hare ‘Rey’ to come forward as a sinner for a ‘down down’ – he had told the entire hash prior to setting off that there would be a beer stop – nobody could find it!!!!!!! Tony Wallis was given a well deserved ‘down down’ for referring to the taste of our beloved Phoenix beer as like ‘licking an envelope’! How dare he! Our RA then called forward Martin to be baptized with a new ‘hash name’ to keep for the rest of his hash days. He was well and truly baptized with flour and beer in his new name of ‘G. Ripper’. The GM called forward Sylvia looking splendid in the ‘smelly blue’ t-shirt. She had the great pleasure of awarding it to Perry for ‘always looking so immaculate at the hash’. He was well anointed by the circle and will wear it ‘next to the skin’ at the next hash. Two birthdays were celebrated with the hash ‘choir’ doing us proud – Marie-Jose Constantin and Eric Maard (RA), both 21 ! Next hash to be in the South set by Jacques Domaingue and food by Rosemary. Thank you to Marie-Claude for some excellent food. On, on - Hash scribe - Henriette PS We have received an email from old timer, Paul “Crispin” Berriman Phhhd. I have his email if anyone wishes to contact him. Bob
